Practical, accessible and inclusive Data and AI.

If you want a different approach to Data & AI, come and speak to me about how I can help you

It’s not just about technology.

It’s about people, their goals and the journey they want to follow.

Working with Sam completely changed how we think about data. She brought a calm, clear approach that made something which used to feel complicated suddenly feel useful, manageable, and even exciting.”

The name 17 Points comes from a moment of reflection...

Not long before starting the business, I spoke at a careers event with Edinburgh College, sharing the path I’d taken into data and the twists and turns that shaped my career, and showing that there were opportunities for all.

It wasn’t a straight line, there were highs and lows, big decisions, chance opportunities, and pivotal experiences that all added up. When I counted them, this new chapter became my 17th point.

That story is at the heart of the company. Careers aren’t always linear, and opportunities don’t always come evenly. I believe that skills, pathways, and access should be open to everyone, whether you’re a student, a career changer, or a leader exploring what’s next.
